Some days are perfect. From the moment you wake up.
Our week in Phu Quoc is turning out to be a collection of perfect days. We must be worn out from the three months of constant moving because we are drinking the slow quiet days with nothing to do but relax, play and laze on the white sand.
The main resort area on Phu Quoc is nothing special. Long Beach is nice and endless but it is framed with a uninterrupted string of hotels and bungalows. When we arrived we were disappointed.
But there is one place on the island that is pure magic.
The perfect beach. White sand, turquoise waters, green hills and nothing else.
Bai Sao Beach is straight from a dream made even better by the excitement of playing with new friends. We are loving the company of a Japanese/Canadian family who speaks perfect English (Yay!) and shares our love for adventure.
While we can’t stay away from the water, the Vietnamese enjoy the ocean in a totally different way. They opt to hang in the shade, play cards and talk talk talk. Only now and then a few of them will venture into the sea. When they do, ladies go straight in with their clothes. Matching outfits double as swimsuits.
Not this little one though. Perfect pink swimsuit for her perfect little self.
