Both of our children are big Ghibli movie fans so visit to the Tokyo museum was a must. This is a magical place without a trace of the commercial and over stimulating mass culture fed to our children nowadays. There is innocence and subtlety in the Ghibli’s movies that I find so charming and beautiful and the museum captures that mood perfectly.
If you haven’t seen any of the movies do give them a try. I bet you will enjoy them:) Our favorites are ‘My neighbor Totoro’, ‘The secret world of Arriette’, ‘Kiki’s Delivery Service’, ‘Ponyo’, ‘Spirited Away’…
Love those movies (haven’t seen Ponyo) – looks like a cool museum
